Situated on 21 rolling acres on Riggs Avenue and Kenton Lands Road is the sight of the I-75 and I-275 East interchange, the Baptist Village offers easy access to shopping, banking, and interstate highways. Assisted Living helps to extend the independence of the senior adult who is experiencing some loss of physical and/or mental abilities. It also delays or avoids admittance into the significantly more expensive and life-style limiting nursing home. It, therefore, can save much money and greatly extend the senior’s independence. Residents are encouraged to function as independently as possible, but are provided assistance and supervision with activities of daily living by 24-hour non-medical staff coverage. The Munro House of the Baptist Village is termed "A community of comfort
and security with friends and neighbors". It consists of 58 one-bedroom suites of
independent living. Similar to the nearby Long House of the Baptist Village, it is also of
Georgian Colonial design. Highlighted by the splendor of the Grand Room, 7000 square feet
of beautiful dining space, this building is the pride of its occupants.
The magnificent Long House at the Baptist Village consists of 48 one and two
bedroom suites that reflect excellence on independent and assisted living. The Long House
is of an elegant Georgian Colonial design, patterned after a Southern plantation home. The
splendid two-story grand foyer at the main entrance features twin staircases and an
extraordinary chandelier that is sure to captivate.
